						The Safety Technology Program (STP) is committed to providing world-class education
						for students to develop professional skills suitable for career entry-level positions,
						and also to building a strong foundation to pursue advanced degrees and lifelong learning.
						Additionally, STP provides continual educational opportunities for the host community.

 The STP has the following educational goals:
 
								Program Learning Outcomes::To prepare graduates who can take entry-level positions in the health and safety field.To prepare graduates who are able to pursue higher education and lifelong learning.To enhance graduate ability to fulfill long-term goals in professional and educational development
 
 Knowledge:
 
 
								Skills:Explain the fundamental aspects of occupational safety and environmental health issues.Describe standards, codes, procedures or regulations necessary for safety professional practice.
 
 
								Competence:Formulate, and solve broadly defined technical or scientific problems by applying knowledge of mathematics and science and/or technical topics to areas relevant to occupational, safety, and health.Conduct experiments (or standard tests) as well as to analyze and interpret data.
 
 
								Professional Occupations:Show ethical and responsible behavior.Function effectively as member of a team.Demonstrate effective written, oral and graphical communication skills.
 
 After completing the program, students may take up any occupational safety and health profession such as:
